Are you original?
A few days ago I was with my friends and we were talking about random things when one of them asked the question: "Is there anything original anymore?" I jokingly answered all my ideas were original but of course everything you see now always has a hint of something that's been done before.
Let's take for example the new Philippine Tourism slogan: "It's More Fun in the Philippines" which was met with great praise only to be taken down by the haters.

I for one think, it' was an awesome idea and an awesome slogan. I just wish they thought about the consequences and researched really well. Somethings you can't take back. But then again, haters hate.
But the reason why I thought of writing this post is cause I saw a video of a friend singing an ORIGINAL song. Yeah, the idea of the song may not be original, but the song is. The lyrics, the melody, the voice. They're all original.
What made me want to share this more with everyone is because I'm such a proud friend. I met Kara when she was just in grade 5 and now she's graduated from college. We met when Atlantis productions staged "Beauty and the Beast". She was Chip and she was the cutest. We became instant friends because she was going to the school I went to. Yes, we had a huge age gap.
Sadly we haven't been able to keep in touch and I just recently found her on FB once again but that's not the point. The point is, watch the video. She sings like an angel. I am so amazed. :)
