Guess who's going bazonkers!!! Weeeeee!!!

There are soooo many things happening in my life right now that I can't seem to find enough time to actually sit down and take a break, but then again, I promised myself that I would always be number 1 priority so I guess that will all have to change. :D LOL.

So while having lunch with friends this afternoon I started enumerating all the things lined up for me these coming months then I also counted down to how many months left til the wedding. THREE!!! That's right...3 months to go, not counting this month and October of course. But damn! 3 months then it's the big day! Waaaaah!!! Do you have any idea how I feel right now?!? Let me show you...

***photo from the internet

That's was me at lunch time. I was going bazonkers. This only means it's time to FOCUS. Get your head in the game. Tune out the noise. Concentrate. I need to figure out what needs to be done and just do it! Tonight, random people are you going to get random panic messages from me. They should be expecting it! Lol. But I'm serious.

So you must be asking...what's the hurry? Well, let me begin by pointing out the fact that we have been together FOREVER. But that's not the point, I confuse me too sometimes...deal with it. The truth is, it's because the Zetans have been pressuring us (and that's why I love them)! Lol, I kid. We've actually been preparing for this for quite some time now and it's only really now that we've actually decided to let people in on the secret. Weeeeee! :D We like being secretive like that. Deal with it. And no, I'm not preggers. Hello!

Can you imagine the struggle of having to keep MY mouth shut about the biggest news in my life. Resisting the urge to smile every time people would ask us when we plan to get married. Trying not to look at each other knowingly when our friends would pressure ask us what was taking so long. I am the most talkative person that my friends know. LOL, I'm assuming of course but I'm sure they'll agree. And keeping news like this to myself and not being able to talk about it. Torture. To be completely honest though I didn't really keep it a secret very long from my extremely close friends, I just really couldn't. hehe The bu on the other hand. Professional Poker Facer. Haha, it was so natural. Maybe that's cause he's always been the quiet type. Riiiiight. He's seriously not that quiet once you get to know him. Ask my friends, sometimes I seriously think he scares them. Lol.

But let's get back on point. I am in a state of PANIC!!! Panic I tell you!!!

So dear friends, I apologize in advance for all the crazy out of the blue messages you might get from me. You knew it was bound to happen.

In case you haven't heard!

I have copied and pasted this quote a million times and yet every time I read it my heart smiles and I am reminded of the fact that I am lucky to have found someone who I am ready to share the rest of my life with...
“Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is.
Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.Louis de BernièresCorelli's Mandolin
If you don't follow me on my social media accounts then you probably don't know that We're Officially ENGAGED!!! Yes, officially. :D It's a long story and maybe we'll wait til the wedding to tell people about our journey to here or maybe well just keep it to ourselves but the important thing to take away from this is the fact that WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

I am overwhelmed with the response we got when we announced our engagement. :D It made the engagement even more special. :D Thank you to everyone who liked, commented, SMSed, messaged, tweeted and shared with us the happiness and excitement the next few months will bring leading up to the big day! That's right folks, after all the teasing and nudging it's really happening.

By this time I can already picture our friends as they sigh and say "finally" and I must admit that it's been a long time coming. But I am a firm believer that everything happens at the right time and we can't rush God's timing. All in His time. And right now feels perfect for us.

I'm so full of energy right now and there's so many things I still have to do. I can finally start calling everyone, rally the troops as they say. It's crunch time! :D So I'm off, to plan and panic and plan some more.

Weeeee...We're getting married!!!

The Little Things :D

Since the boyfriend officially started his Residency I feel like I never get to see him when in fact we still see each other everyday except for duty days which is every 2 days. What sucks though is that he always seems to be soooo tired...no rest for the weary. So instead of heading out we usually end up staying home listening to music, catching up on shows and movies or sleep.

Most often than not he always has work to do since you don't really have much time to sit at a desk when you're at the hospital. So we spend our quality time sitting in bed doing his census. Time well spent. :D

Why did I decide to write about this all of a sudden. Because I realized that in the past 2 months I've learned to appreciate the little things more and more. :D

So here's to the little things...like having dinner, going to the grocery, having our hair cuts together and finishing our work together. It's the little things that make the world the amazing place that it is. :D

Here's to more Valentine dates! :D

The little things...

Sometimes when life gets too fast paced and there are too many things going on and everything just seems to be too big you tend to forget about the little things. That's what happened to me last week. Friday was a very emotional day filled with disappointments add to that the fact that I was being very hormonal. It was dramafest all over. But then before sleeping I prayed about it and woke up feeling a tad better.

Life is filled with disappointments, there are just some things beyond my control. When I woke up I reminded myself that what I did control was how I would react to things. Happiness is always a choice. And though I must admit that it took me most of the day just sitting around watching Shameless before I decided to get up and move to the bedroom to take a nap. Haha...to give you perspective, the bu just got in from duty and was napping too so I didn't want to disturb his nap by waking him up. See, sooooo thoughful. I managed to snap myself out of all the drama.

When everything seems to be going wrong the best way to deal with it is to remind yourself that no one is more in control of your happiness than yourself. After an extremely sad end to my work-week my weekend was awesome because it's the little things that make life worthwhile. Take for example spending the entire weekend with my now public servant bu. Finally getting to watch a movie that you've both been raring to catch. Being even more impressed with the movie despite the already high expectations. Spending time with your godchildren even if it was just for a little while. All awesome things packed into an awesome weekend.

Without the hardships, disappointments, heartbreaks I would have never been able to appreciate things the way I appreciate them now. Never loose sight of the little things because in the end, it's really the little things that make life awesome. Here's the looking forward to more weekend breaks with the bu. :D

Thankful. :D

I was supposed to post this on my birthday a few months back. Sadly though I didn't really have enough time to write it all out, and I must admit that I have been lazy on the days when I could have finished it...but because during the New Year people always make time to be thankful, I thought I would do the same. :D

Because my life has been filled with so much blessings and because it is my birthday I thought it would be awesome to write a post about the 15 wonderful people and things I am most thankful for. :D Why 15? Because it's half of 30 (which was initially what I wanted to write but since this post had been dragging for way too long I think it's about time I post it already) seems like such a nice number, not old high at all, seems just right.

Since 15 is A LOT for a list, let me try to keep it simple...unless I can't help it. haha...so here it goes...
I am thankful for:
  1. My job! :D Because people always tell you to do the things you love and you'd never have to work a day in your life. I'm not saying I'm in love with my job but I am content and happy, and I am blessed at this job. It's not easy and it can be quite the challenge but the positive always outweighs the negative. :D
  2. The Nuffies. Just because of who they are. :D It really makes a huge a difference when you want to spend your free time at the office.
  3. Thei-thei and Rendy! I know they're Nuffies too but I think they deserve their own entry because I can tell them anything and everything and we always have one another to listen to when the sh*t gets cray. :P hahaha
  4. My car. Because I've been telling myself that it's about time I start learning how to drive and at the start of the year I wrote down in my goals was to buy myself a car and I was finally able to do it. :D
  5. Everyone's patience in teaching me how to drive. I'm manic when I drive and people aren't allowed to talk at me when I'm driving unless I ask them specifically to. hahaha
  6. The kindle, because I love reading and I love being able to bring it out anywhere, especially when I'm in a cab, and read. Thanks for lending it to me Jonah! :D It has been put to good use! Add to that my iPad Mini because I twisted the bu's arm so he'd trade with me. Yaaaay! :D It has become my constant companion.
  7. My new phone because it work waaaaay better than the other one. And it's the first phone I actually spent money on. Haha...about time!
  8. My family because we're big, we're loud but most of all we're crazy! :D
  9. My mom who is the worst worrier I've ever met. We used to have a tough relationship but then again what mother-daughter didn't. Thankfully we've outgrown it and now she's my biggest and best supporter.
  10. My dad who spoiled me silly and worked hard to keep his family happy. Despite the hardships we always manage to smile and be thankful. We may not have much but we have more than enough. :D
  11. My brothers who used to annoy and pick on me A LOT!!! It's because of them I know never to let anyone pick on me.
  12. All the opportunities this year has given me. I have been blessed beyond measure. Thank you Kuya Jess.
  13. My wonderful godchildren, Atchie Fif and Lucas-chichas. They make reunions extremely tiring fun and laughter filled.
  14. photo from cousin Coley taken at Sofia's party
  15. My faith because I know that there is nothing in this world I cannot conquer with God by my side. :D
  16. My bu, because at the end of the day, there is no one I would rather come home to. :D I have been blessed endlessly and he is just really the cherry on top. :D Thank you for consistently being my inspiration. I love you bu!

Must. Travel. Soon.

I have been itching to book a flight to Bangkok for the longest time now. The bu and I agreed that we would travel out of the country at least once a year. I must admit though that I'm not really sure if I just had that conversation in my head and pretended he agreed with me. And we already went to SG earlier this year so he's not that into the whole -Let's go to Bangkok this November - plan that I've been trying to shove down his throat. Yes, I'm a very very pushy girlfriend.

But because next year might welcome extremely huge changes in our lifestyle and time, I think it would still be an awesome idea to go. Now, if only I could find cheap flights to get there. I figure once they're booked he really doesn't have much choice. Bwahaha...

See, the first time I went to Bangkok I was throwing up all over the place. I was sick before boarding the plane and spent 70% of my time in the hotel. Lucky for me Jacob was still a child back then so he preferred staying in the hotel with me too! Oh, and the fact that back then I was rooming with my 2 cousins who loved shopping helped as well. They shopped for me so I eventually went home with loads of new stuff without having to go out. Awesomesauce right. But that meant I haven't really experienced the whole shopping in Bangkok thing. Yes, I'm shallow like that, I love shopping. Although quite recently I've also been thinking of going to Cambodia or something, you know, one of those countries that don't have much shops but have loads of culture. Maybe I can do that in December. Must look out for more cheap flights!

So before I continue rambling on and on about nonsense...what I really want to say is. I miss travelling and I miss the bu. He's been busy with hospital work recently and if my next few years will be like this. Meh, I don't like it. Then again, grown ups always have to make sacrifices. Sucks. No wonder I never wanted to be grown up. Hahaha...

So there. Thanks for reading my nonsense post for the day. I'm off to find cheap flights. If you've got an awesome BKK itinerary you'd love to share send it my way. I'd love some inspiration. Haha...

I miss the bu's curly hair. I miss travelling.
Must. Travel. Soon.

Saturdate rush...

I have a bad habit of over-booking my personal social commitments. Yup, I am notorious for saying yes to dinner only to realize I already have plans for a movie at the same time. Frustrating. For someone who does organization professionally I totally suck organizing my own plans. I blame it on the fact that I barely had time to see my friends before so when they call for a meet up I always want to be there. The bu always has a field day when that happens.

So why did I all of a sudden fess up to that embarrassing attribute...well, because yesterday was a very stressful day. Although I did not double book, our commitments were too close together that it was extremely stressful.

I started out the day pretty calm, I was home watching videos waiting for the bu to get home from duty. So my morning was spent lazing around doing nothing except mentally preparing myself for the busy day ahead. The boyfriend wasn't as lucky since he barely got any sleep. After grabbing a quick bite for lunch I forced him to take a nap before we went to the Bourne Legacy screening being held by Nuffnang and Mandaue Foam in Shangr-La. Yay for Nuffnang Philippines and Mandaue Foam although the movie was a bit on the meh side for me I still felt kilig when Rachel Weisz first said "Manila, Philippines" haha

The screening itself started at 4 and was supposed to end at 6 which would have given us 2 hours to get to the MOA Arena for Saltimbanco. Yup, we were finally going to be able to watch Cirque du Soleil. Our lucky day! Unfortunately the movie ended at around 6:20 which meant we had to run all the way from the movie house to the car. I was wearing the most uncomfortable shoes known to man. My feet were killing me. They were flats but they didn't fit right so it was giving me the worst blisters.

Before leaving Shang though we made an effort to check the traffic situation. Since I use a BB and not an iPhone as my primary phone I didn't have the MMDA app, I had the Metro Traffic Live app.

Let me tell you, that app SUCKS. I check it and it assures me that the traffic from Shaw - MOA is moderate - light so we decide that's best route to take. We stop for gas which couldn't have lasted more than 10 mins but BAM! we were stuck in the worst traffic EVER! Yup! A bumper to bumper, this sure isn't moderate traffic kind of situation. To make matters worse, we were on a tight schedule. So after much praying and stressing we finally get to MOA 10 mins before the show was supposed to start. 10 mins and we still had to find parking!!!

Parking proved to be a breeze but it was so far from the Arena that I literally forced the bu to sprint. We were running like lunatics. All those days spent running finally paid off! Let me tell you, those shoes were NOT made for walking all the more running but I was stressed! I already missed part of the Varekai opening I wouldn't miss the Saltimbanco opening if I could do something about it. Which I didn't because we walked in right as she was saying "Welcome to Saltimbanco" hahaha

Despite the fact that we were a bit late, the bu and I enjoyed ourselves. :D We had a wonderful time watching at the movies and at Cirque and well, just spending time together after being stranded apart the whole week. Saltimbanco was great, let me tell you all about it next time!

Maybe over-booking your weekends isn't such a bad idea if you're overbooking it with someone you love. Pass the cheese Luis! Just make sure you don't trust an app that tricks you into taking a heavy traffic route because it's stupid. hah!

Today marks a decade.

A decade. 10 years. That's a whole lot of time.

A lot of things can happen in 10 years. Isn't it one of those staple interview questions, "How do you see yourself in 10 years?" Well, in all the interviews I've been in I always get asked that question, and I always say in 10 years I will be FABULOUS! Ok, so I admit I might not be that crazy during interviews, but in my head that's what I was saying!

***photo from lifeinaventicup.com

You might be curious as to why I all of a sudden decide to write about a decade. Well, as I previously stated in the beginning of this post, a lot can happen in 10 years. And for me, the past 10 years have been a h*ll of a ride. Yup, it's official, the bu and I have been together for a decade. We started dating when we were 12, do the math! :P haha.

at our College baccalaureate mass
That was us graduating from college, back then we were just 2 years together. Yes, we went to college that early, he always insisted he was Doogie Howser anyway! :P It's always nice to look at old photos of us together. It makes me realize I look like I never aged a day. ahahahaha...I kid. It makes me realize I am still head over heals in love with this guy. Uh-mazeballs.

So since this post is obviously going to be cheesy, I won't hold back. After all, 10 years is a lot of time and there are a lot of things to say. But since I don't want to bore you let me keep it in theme and share with you the Top 10 Reasons why I know my guy is THE guy for me.

10. He compliments my insanity. Let's all start with the obvious. I admit it, I am insaaaaaane! But there is system to this madness. Or is there? Hehe.

photo credit: Rina  Vivencio del Rosario

There are just times when you don't care what other people might say, you just want to do things because they're fun. Crazy Fun! It's even more fun when there's someone always there willing to be just as crazy as you. Although I would still argue he's crazier than me. With the bu, we like to act silly just because it's more fun that way.

9. He spoils me. The bu takes me and picks me up from work EVERYDAY. You don't think that's a big deal but if you take into account the fact that he works everyday as well as goes on duty at night, yup, that's spoilage. But that's not all, I have never gone to work hungry. He always makes sure I have something to eat. Not impressed yet, when I feel like being a brat and crave for crazy stuff, he agrees to drive to wherever just to satisfy my insane milk tea addiction, random chicken skin chicharon craving or give me my after drinking french fries fix even when I'm passed out on the passenger side.

But that's not all! I am a big baby, and this is where my cousins say I am a big cry baby. I don't like seeing, smelling, touching, or being near anything yucky. And the list of things that are yucky are as weird as cracks on the sidewalk to gross patterns on random objects. Ugh, just typing this makes my hair stand on end. So you can imagine how high maintenance a girl like me can be. Extremely. But the bu knows exactly how to deal with me. He knows when to mock me or make me feel better and he knows better than to tease me when I'm in a mood, most of the time.

The bu is a spoiler but he's also spoiled. It's all about finding the right balance and knowing when to give in or keep on pushing.

8. He always knows what to say to make me feel better. With him I am always safe. I have a weird quirk. Whenever I read something or watch something before I sleep I always get nightmares about it. It has happened for the Hunger Games, Percy Jackson and the scariest of them all The Walking Dead. It is not fun to wake up in the middle of the night to a dark room fearing the zombies have finally come to attack. :/ It's a good thing there's always someone to tell me that I'm being ridiculous and snaps me back to reality.

7. He makes me laugh. All the time. Random conversations with the bu will never be boring. He always has new material that never cease to crack me up. Sometimes I wish I had a camera running all the time just to catch him doing the silliest things. Whenever people meet him for the first time they always think he's this serious cause he gives off this serious-I-will-only-participate-in-intelligent-conversations vibe. But our good enough friends have seem glimpses of the crazy bu. Trust me, if you want to see the person I love spending time with, load him up with scotch and watch the magic happen. :D

Taken at the Evenstcape XV party where the bu decided he could down a whole bottle of Chivas.

And here are a couple of photos we took at a wedding we went to in Boracay. Obviously we love to dance when we're drunk. But we love to make fun of ourselves even more. Jazz hands!

I believe that the key to a successful relationship is laughter. If you know how to make fun of yourself as much as you make fun of other people, hehe then nothing can keep you down. I can never stay mad at the bu because when he does something stupid, he knows ways to make me laugh. And when you're laughing you can never stay mad.

6. He calls me out when I am out of line. Growing up a middle-child-only-girl has both it's perks and drawbacks. The drawback, I don't have anyone to share clothes and shoes with. The perk, I was NEVER at fault. Yes, my childhood was crazy but it was always happy. So one can imagine the pressure of having to deal with a person who NEVER thinks she's wrong. There are times when I can be the most unreasonable person, there are times lang naman, not naman ALL the time. and the bu always knows when to tell me off and when to just ride it out.

I believe a good partner is someone who knows when to listen to you b*tch and whine but will be brave enough to tell you to your face that what just happened is your fault and that you should just suck it up!

5. He supports me in everything that I do. I've always been fickle. I'm a girl like that. It's a good thing I always have a sounding board with whom I can always bounce my ideas off of. He balances me out, gives me different perspectives to a certain situation.

What I love the most about our relationship is that there are times when we talk like adults, and there are times when at the end of the day, we can be the big kids that we are inside.

4. My friends think he's awesome and I think his friends are awesome. I love my friends and I cannot imagine being without them. They know every dirty little secret of mine and I feel safe enough to know that they will never sell me out. So how awesome is it that my friends get along with him and he can totally be himself when we're all together. They know how cooky-crazy he is. :)

with some of my friends in SG
with the bu's barkada last Christmas
at one of the Zetan parties.

 3. He loves my family and my family loves him. I grew up in a clannish Filipino-Chinese family. That should be enough explanation of how important my family's approval is to me and how important getting along with them should be to the person I'm with. How awesome is it that every time I'm with family they always look for him. :D

2. With him, I am a better version of me. I can be cranky, bitchy, noisy and downright annoying when I want to be. There have been times when I'm too high strung I get ticked off at the smallest most idiotic things. It helps a lot when there's always someone there to remind you that at the end of the day we all should respect one another because we're all equal. :)

I don't take to alcohol well. At all. Obviously.
The bu has always known what he's wanted in life and he's continuously working hard to get to his goal. It's admirable because there's really nothing that can stand in the way of him achieving his goal. When I was younger I really wasn't a good student. I took things for granted and only made up for it at the end of the quarter. Looking back I always wish I could have realized what a waste of time and talent that was. But things definitely changed when I met the bu. He was a nerd in the fullest sense of the word. :P But together we learned that a healthy balance is best. :) We strive to be better people not for each other but for ourselves. :)

right before getting drunk. what a fun night!
1. Being with him, I know I am always loved.

Love is a temporary madness.
Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.- Captain Corelli's Mandolin
So thanks bu, for a wonderful decade. :D I love you!

Singapore Diaries: Universal Studios Singapore

If you've been reading my past posts then you'd know the bu and I are children stuck in grown up bodies. If you're on of our close friends then you'd know what we were really like in real life and everything posted here is not in any way an exaggeration. haha.

So it goes without saying, after Wicked, Universal Studios was high on our list of must-do's in SG. :D

I've been wanting to go because from the time we decided we were going to HK Disney people would tell us that Universal was waaaay better. So now I could finally put it all to the test and decide for myself.

Like in HK, everyone kept telling us we would be done in 3 hours. Once you've gotten through all the rides then you're done. Spend the whole day in Universal Studios: Challenge accepted. They obviously don't know us. We walk ssssslllloooooowww. Hehe, kidding.

Of course we left my cousin's house early because we were excited little children we didn't want to get lost and we were hitching with her to the bus so she could tell us where to get off. :))

Meet my cousin Coley. She adopted us for 5 days. Weeeee

We took a long walk with her and got to USS really early. Like 11 am early. The drawback of going that early, it was too warm and it only got warmer throughout the day. You actually start to develop a headache because you duck into an airconditioned area to escape from the heat and when you step out it's warmer than when you went it. That cycle of warm, cold, warm really gets to you.

Because we purchased our ticket on-line we didn't need to cue for tickets there. :) Yay for us!

Of course the first thing you do when you're in USS is take photos. Here are a few...We tried to get the best photo of the Universal globe thing-y but the thing was turning, so we took tons in different stages of the word Universal. Hopefully when you put them together, we can get a whole word. :D

Want to know what we did first in Universal Studios? After taking photos that is...

We went on the first ride we could see, the Madagascar ride. Let me tell you, it was not what you would expect. Maybe because I had such high expectations, because this was supposed to be better than HK Disney, but our first ride was a bust. It felt like it was more kiddie-ish and we just sat in the gondola and went around listening to the "animals" talk. But then again, just like in any movie, if you're too built up it rarely makes expectation. I guess if you are a fan of Madagascar and if you are below 4 feet you would have found this ride fun. :D

These were the only photos I was able to sneak since every time you go on a ride they make you keep your camera. :/

What I realized after a few rides at USS, their rides are more kid friendly. There were a lot that we decided we didn't want to ride because it was too hot and it didn't look like it would be fun. The other thing I wanted to do was watch shows, so after our first ride we trek to the Waterworld Show. I liked it, they start of interacting with the crowd, getting them all riled up and excited. They even pull out a few guests and soak them! It was fun to watch and the guy playing the lead was amazing on his jetski. It was a welcome break from the heat, that was until they started blowing things up. It was quiet a big production and I would recommend you catch it if you're in USS.

Here are a couple of photos with the cast after the show!

I never really watched the movie so I didn't really know what to expect. I must say I liked it. But a bit of advise, if you don't want to feel the warmth of the explosions don't stay by the front. If you don't want to get soaked don't stay by the front. But if you're up for anything then front is the way to go. :)

I have a lot more stories to share but this post is getting long so let me tell you about it in another post. :) For now, I'm going to dream about milk tea as I'm trying to wean myself off it. What a bad addiction!

Let me tell you about our Disney trip...last year. :D

Last year the bu and I went on our first out of the country trip together. Yes, it was the first time we left the country together. Why? Because these two lazy people finally decided to get up off their lazy bee-hinds and have their passports renewed. FINALLY.

SO for our first trip we went to Hong Kong. I love Hong Kong. The food, the sights and of course the shopping. :) Who could go wrong with Hong Kong?

Of course our itinerary was packed. We shopped at all the secret bargain places, we ate at hole in the wall restaurants, we went to Madame Tussauds and of course we went to Hong Kong Disneyland.

The happiest place on Earth! :)

Since it was just the two of us, we had to rely on kind strangers to take our photos for us.

With barely 3 hours of sleep, off we go to Disneyland. Everyone keeps saying that HK Disney is so small we'll probably be done in half a day. Challenge accepted. After a day in the park, we get home famished and tired but oh so happy. :)

Of course everyone had a list of things we had to do. My aunt said not to miss the shows, particularly the Lion King one. So as first order of business, the Lion King show it was. :) I would recommend it to other people too. Good show with lots of effects. Here's a photo of us before the show started.

And then of course we had to go on the rides. Most of the rides were kid-centered, I wonder why? but the bu and I were sport enough to try them out. :) Here's a photo of us on one of them. The ride was actually pretty calm. Just your typical booth attached to an arm that goes up and down as well as round and round. No topsy-turvy spins. Just your typical calm, your-five-year-old-can-ride-this-forever, kind of ride.

One of the other highlights of Disneyland of course are the characters who walk among the crowd. How often do you see Princesses all decked out walking around where you live? It was quite funny that they would all greet me with, "oh, is he your Prince Charming?" every time the bu and I would approach them for a photo. Has your copywriter not been able to come up with better lines? Or at least give you options? :P This is a photo of us with Rapunzel, sadly the last Disney Princess.

What is a Disneyland Theme Park without a castle? Because we stayed there the entire day and waited for the fireworks we saw Sleeping Beauty's castle all lit up. :)Isn't it a sight to see?

And finally, the fireworks.

We did it, we stayed a whole day in Disneyland and loved it. :) I know this post is a tad bit too late. If you think a year is late. But I still thought it would be awesome to share. That and I couldn't come up with things to write about Universal Studios just yet.

I heard there's a whole new section they recently opened. I can't wait to go back. :D
