Ingat! The JLC Experience!

Hypochondriasis according to Wikipedia refers to excessive preoccupation or worry about having a serious illness.

I know all about it, I am after all a self-confessed hypochondriac. Awesome for me, my boyfriend is a doctor. We're a match! :) I joke about it a lot but he doesn't seem to think it's too funny. :P

Seriously though, I'm not that bad but I do get overly dramatic most of the time. :P That's the reason why I never leave the house without my medicine. I always have a little kit handy inside my bag filled with my essentials like celecoxib for my cramps, anti-histamine for my allergies and Biogesic for my headaches. :) Yup. I never leave the house unprepared and whenever I run out, I panic.

As I was sharing in my previous post, this week had turned out to be a really long week. There were so many things that I had to finish that there were days when I literally felt like I walked the entire day. Lucky for me there were nice little breaks in between. Like this awesome opportunity to join my Nuffie friends at a lunch for John Lloyd Cruz. I'm not much of a fan but when the opportunity for a free lunch that came with celebrity sightings came up I was there faster than you can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. What?!? What!?! Sorry I've been watching too much Cougar Town.

The lunch served two purposes. To get me a ride closer to my meeting and to get me free food. I kid, I kid. It was actually a congratulatory lunch for John Lloyd thrown by his Biogesic family for the success of Unofficially Yours. Which my friends keep saying I should watch but sadly haven't been able to. YET!

And they officially announced that they we're signing him up for another year! Yup, more of those "Ingat!" ads for girls to go gaga over! It was actually nice to have found out that he's been their endorser for 6 years now. 6 years is a long time to be in a relationship with someone, especially in showbiz. More so to trust someone to carry and endorse your name. Biogesic must really like John Lloyd.

But then again...what's not to like about this face...

Ooooh John Lloyd we have a common! I myself am a Biogesic believer, especially when I feel like I'm dying of a fever. It's worked for me so far!

The lunch went well. The food at Annabel's wasn't anything fantastic but JLC answered the questions thrown at him like a good sport. He also spent more of the afternoon gamely posing for photos, which I must say must have been hard considering he had to be smiling the ENTIRE time. I sadly still don't have photos from that day. I know, I really should invest in an awesome camera soon. But since there's always room for more photos on this blog. Here's another one of JLC!
